We make a special effort to go out once a week just the two of us. It gives us a chance to just be together and focus on each other. Lots of friends have told us that after they had kids their relationships changed and some relationships suffered because of that. Since having Hayden we've tried to go out once a week without her. Of course the conversation usually ends up being about her, but that's ok, at least we're making the effort to be together and enjoy each other's company!
This weeks date night was at the Phillies game! What a fun night it turned out to be! The game started off pretty bad with the Dodgers scoring a run in the first inning. I told Dan "maybe Park will get in a rythem!?" Well, I was right! The Phillies ended up winning the game 5-3 with key hits from Jimmy Rollins and Raul Ibanez and Jason Werth stealing home! What a game!!! Even the annoying kids sitting behind us couldn't ruin this game!
